HE so I Project - Podcast Introduction |
HE so I Project Starting Soon!
As we look forward to the start of the HE so I Project, we will be introducing different aspects of the project each week. This week we will focus on the podcast.
HE so I Project Podcast
I was meeting with an associate pastor at the church we were attending. He was preparing to give the sermon that Sunday. I asked what his sermon was going to be about. After listening to his description, I recognized a common theme.
I told the pastor, "There is a common theme that ties all of your points together."
After making that statement, I had to leave for another meeting without resolving the question of the common theme. I did come back later and provided my observation, which started the conversation
It was an unusual beginning for a conversation that has been going on for the past number of years. This conversation has been both a challenge and encouragement, while also building a great friendship. With each conversation, we consistently return to a focus on God and identity.
As part of the HE so I project, we are creating a podcast. The hosts of this podcast are Dr. Eric Moyer of Redeeming Identity and Pastor Erik Miller, the original participants of this conversation. Through the podcast, we are hoping to invite others to join the conversation.
An introduction to the HE so I Podcast has been put on the website.
Each month, we will record and publish a podcast focused on the attribute of God. This is not a sermon, but a discussion between two individuals with an identity focus. During the conversation, we will discuss the identity of God and how it is reflected in our identity.
If you like video, the video podcast can be accessed on the website or on the Redeeming Identity You Tube Channel.
