Interview with a Pastor
In preparation for the release of Redeeming Identity, we are doing some special episodes of the HE so I Project podcast.
Our first episode, Interview with a Pastor, will be released Thursday, December 18. It is an interview with Pastor Erik Miller, the senior pastor of Grace Community Church in Loveland, CO. He has been working with me, discovering how the concepts of Redeeming Identity impact the work of being a pastor, including teaching, counseling, and serving. In this episode, we start a discussion of how concepts in Redeeming Identity have transformed his life and ministry. You don't want to miss this insightful discussion.
You can watch or listen to the podcast using the following links.
We are also on other podcast providers, such as Spotify and iHeart.

Book Description Feedback
As I have learned throughout the process, an important part of publishing and selling a book is the online book description. Since so many books are currently sold online, as either physical copies and online books, the online description of the book is very important.
In preparation for the online sale of the book, we have created an online description of the book and would like to get feedback to refine it before posting. The online description for the book is provided below.
Imagine a life that is full of meaning, purpose, fulfillment, joy, and peace.
Wherever you find yourself, you were created for a life greater than you could ever imagine. This is not an exaggeration. The typical experience of feeling dissatisfied, disconnected, and aimless can make you question this truth. But, you can trust in the promises and plans of your creator.
The key is discovering the unique identity that God designed for you.
In Redeeming Identity, Dr. Eric Moyer uses the psychological and Biblical principle that who you are influences every aspect of your life. If you want to live the life God meant for you, you need to become who you were meant to be. This is more than just adding more labels to your current identity, but a process of complete transformation from the inside out.
Through this unique and practical perspective of identity, you will discover…
- The priority of your identity to God
- The central theme of identity throughout the Bible
- The role of identity in the gospel message
- The four P’s of identity
- The three S’s that describe the process of transformation
- The practices that support the transformation process
Break free from who you have been to discover who you can become.
Through the engaging combination of insight and story, you will be provided with a practical foundation for understanding who you are now and how to discover God’s desire for your new identity.
It’s time to answer the central question, “Who am I created to be?”
