A Time for Your Questions
As a teacher, I have stood in front of groups of all different sizes to share lessons on various topics. Every teaching opportunity involved two steps.
- Instruction on the material
- Questions to help clarify or expand the instruction
Some of the best learning did not happen during the initial instruction, but during the process of answering questions. Questions are an important part of learning new concepts and ideas.
This was a common way that Jesus even taught, where he would provide a teaching to the crowds, but would then spend time answering questions from His disciples.
As part of the summer months, I wanted to take the opportunity to change from providing instruction to answering questions.
Extending the Conversation
Over the past number of months, we have been producing and sharing podcasts that introduce the concepts of Redeeming Identity. The goal of the Redeeming Identity series of podcasts was to share the important ideas about identity communicated through the book Redeeming Identity. This was to provide a foundation for the discussions that we have as part of the HE so I Project podcasts and Bible Studies.
The HE so I Project podcast was designed to be a conversation, not just a lecture.
We want to answer your questions about Redeeming Identity or any question about the role of identity in spiritual growth.
Instead of doing a long podcast this month, I am putting out a call for questions you may have, so we can answer them.
Sharing Your Questions
Your question could be one resulting from reading the book or from listening to the podcast episodes introducing the book.
The questions could be about any topic associated with identity and the relationship with spiritual growth, from where identity is found in the Bible to how it impacts the gospel to how it impact our daily life.
There are several ways that you can share your questions.
- Email - You can email your questions to info@redeemingidentity.com. When you email your questions, it could be provided as a simple text question or as a recording of yourself asking the question.
- You Tube comment - You could provide your question as a comment on the video request for questions. Use #RedeemingIdentityQuestion to let us know that you asked a question
- Facebook or Instagram - You could provide your question as a comment to our Facebook or Instagram post. Use #RedeemingIdentityQuestions to let us know that you asked a question.
Regardless of the way that you provide the question, we will review all questions provided. We will attribute the question to the first person that asks a specific question.
Our goal is to answer all questions that are provided, so we can help people in their journey to discover who God created them to become.
